The picture exposes a common phenomenon that an increasing number of teenagers lose themselves in the virtual world and are cut off from reality.The internet plays an essential part in the socializing of contemporary adolescents.However,the overuse of social networking can make students dependent on and lost in the virtual world,which will isolate them from society and real social life.Without meeting friends or making new acquaintances in reality,they are unlikely to develop social skills.Those with numerous friends online actually can't find companions offline.
As far as I am concerned,social network can be adopted as a tool to add convenience to our communication with offline friends rather than the only way of social connection.I will come back to reality and socialize with others in the real world through diverse extracurricular activities.
