According to the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization（聯合國食物與農業組織），129 million hectares（公頃）of forest ，almost equal（相等的）to the size of South Africa ，disappeared（消失） from the Earth forever.An area（面積）around the size of the country of Panama（巴拿馬）disappears every year.With the losing of forest，many animals lose their homes.Sadly，people cut down more trees than planting them.Luckily，there are still people doing their best to save forest.Sebastiao，a Brazilian photographer is one of tjye.aim.He traveled all over the world to take pictures.
   When he finally came back home in Brazil in the 1990s，he was astonished that the forests were all cut down and wildlife had to escape（逃跑）for living.So Sebastiao decided to do something about it .
He believed that together with his wife he could plant the forest.And then he began to make his dream come true.When they began to do that，all the birds and fish came back.During the following 20 years，Sebastiao and his wife took care of the planted forest.During the time the forest grew ，293 kinds of plants ，172 kinds of birds and other animals came back there.
   Sebastiao's dream and hard work is a shining example of saving the environment（環境）.The couple show us how quickly the environment can recover（恢復）if we take action to do it.As the Chinese saying goes ，"The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago；the second best time is today."
