【答案】Friends play an important role in our life.They give us warmth，support and timely help.There are many chances that we can meet many new friends everyday，but I hold the view that it's more important to keep your old friends than it is to make new friends.The reasons are as follows.
First and foremost，we have a stronger relationships with old friends，for the reason that we have known each other for a long time，during which we cared each other，we supported each other and even we firmly trusted each other.Additionally，knowing them from childhood gives us a better understanding of their family and their background，so that we can avoid being cheated by them，which may be happen with new friends whom we know less about.Last but not the least，it is more comfortable to be with old new friends.It is because of our familiarity that make our getting along more casual，providing more freedom for each other.For example，when having a quarrel，we will brave to apologize first without being afraid of not getting forgiveness.
All in all，I totally believe that it's more important to keep your old friends than it is to make new friends.
