This weekend witnessed our active participation in the community service.
As scheduled， we gathered at the school gate at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning and then marched to the Hongxing Community， where we were to pick up litter. Upon arrival， we were divided into small groups and each was responsible for a separate area. Wearing all necessary items， including protective gloves and masks， we began to collect the litter visible. Although hot and tired， seeing the neighbourhood neat and clean， we were more than delighted.
The activity was greatly praised by the community and we also learnt how to sort out different types of waste. It was a rewarding day.
