The government called on us to spend it where we were and avoid being infected， so we didn't visit my grandparents and relatives in Shandong Province， which is far from Guiyang.
During the festival， my parents made a lot of delicious dishes. Although we couldn't meet our relatives， we had a "Happy New Year" video meeting through WeChat and expressed the best wishes to them. Most importantly， we had a safe festival. Hope the pandemic will soon end.
